Metals Academy is a flagship program by the Metals Research Group (RG) dedicated to competency enhancement and knowledge transfer in the field of materials science and engineering. Driven by a spirit of community service, this academy aims to bridge the world of academic research with practical needs in the field.
We regularly organize this program for various community segments, from university students looking to deepen their metallurgical knowledge, to industry practitioners and welding instructors in the Solo Raya region. Our mission is to elevate technical skill standards, introduce cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, and instill a deep understanding of materials science and occupational safety standards (K3).
Through strategic collaborations with our partners, we design a comprehensive curriculum. Our training not only focuses on enhancing technical skills but also on exploring the latest insights from the industrial world. Our goal is to cultivate professionals capable of creating metal joints that are not only technically strong but also of high quality and precision.
