Metal Extrusion

Shaping Metal Profiles with Extreme Pressure. Our Metal Extrusion facility is at the core of our capability to engineer and shape materials from their fundamental form. This process is the foundation for creating lightweight and strong structural components, which is a primary focus in much of our research.

Using a hydraulic extrusion press, we force a heated metal billet through a precision die. This process allows us to create various metal profiles with complex and consistent cross-sections, ranging from simple rods to intricate hollow panels. This facility is vital for our research in studying material flow, designing optimal profiles, and producing specialized research samples.
